Jensen Ford lands podium finish at 411 Motor Speedway

Jensen Ford made his first start in his home state of Tennessee on Saturday with the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for The Tennessean.

In a strong field of 45 cars, Jensen knocked down the fifth-quickest lap in his qualifying group before finishing third in his heat. Rolling off from the ninth-position in the $15,000-to-win main event, Ford used the lowest lane on the track to move forward six positions to wind up third. He trailed Cory Hedgecock and Ricky Weiss while Dale McDowell and Brandon Overton rounded out the Top-5.
