Picking back up on Thursday at West Georgia Speedway (Whitesburg, Ga.) for the Red Clay Revival, Jensen secured his spot into the main event with the fifth fastest qualifying effort in his group. With $4,053 on the line, Ford dropped two positions in the 40-lapper to finish 11th.
After Friday’s stop at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) rained out, Ford visited Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) on Saturday for the 22nd annual Rebel Yell. In a field of 30 cars, Jensen clocked in eighth fastest in his group before placing third in his heat. Starting the $10,053-to-win A-Main 11th, Ford faded one spot in the 53-lap affair to place 12th.
To wrap up the long week of action, Jensen stopped at Rome Speedway (Rome, Ga.) on Sunday. Following the fourth fastest qualifying lap, Ford lost two spots in the feature to record an eighth-place outing.
