Ford endures rough weekend with Iron-Man Series

Jensen Ford returned with the Valvoline Iron-Man Series on Friday night at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) for the 23rd annual Pete Abell Memorial. After recent rain showers led to rough track conditions, Ford was an early retiree from 50-lap feature on the sixth circuit.

For the Hall of Fame Classic on Saturday at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.), Jensen got collected with a yuke tire in his heat that brought an early end to his evening.

Jensen remains leading the Iron-Man Southern Series point standings.
