Ford Begins Bubba Army Winternationals at Bubba Raceway Park

Kicking off the 2019 season, Jensen Ford invaded Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Florida) on Thursday evening for the Bubba Army Winternationals. In a field of 26 Durrence Layne Winter Shootout Series entries, Ford timed in second fastest overall in qualifying behind Kyle Bronson positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the opening night feature. After losing ground early, Jensen was an early retiree from the 40-lap feature on lap-12 due to engine failure.

After sitting out competition on Friday to wait on his motor, Ford returned on Saturday evening for the $10,000-to-win finale. Following the fastest time overall in qualifying, Jensen captured a 10-lap heat race victory locking him into the main event.
