2013/2014 realignment of Borem Motorsports
During 2013 and 2014, Borem Motorsports made some major improvements. These changes are big enough that the cost of time/money has prevented racing during this time period. Here's what has been going on:
- The #111 Pro Truck was traded in to build a top-of-the-line Sportsman. Pictures of the progress will be added soon! It is powered by a (rules mandated, factory sealed) Chevrolet ZZ4 racing crate engine, AMF Chassis with Winters rear axle.
- Also added to the stable is a 2014 Freedom enclosed trailer (with air conditioning!). The new trailer requires big power to pull, so the tow vehicle was upgraded.
- The old V6 Ford van was upgraded to an E350 Superduty with a 6.8L V10 engine. That'll do.
Borem Motorsports is still about $4000 short of completing the race car and taking a green flag in the new Sportsman car. With God's favor, it'll happen before 2015 starts.
