Matt ready to go !

It's been a very busy off season for Matt and the team preparing Matt's 270 Micro Sprint and his 358 Sprintcar for the upcoming season. The 270 car is almost complete and the 358 car only needs graphics to be 100% ready to hit the track. As you can see the car is back in our traditional green and white colors...everything feels normal now ! LOL
Our 2013 plans will see Matt on the track for the first time on March 23rd at Trailways Speedway in the 270 Micro and his 358 Sprintcar season will begin on April 10th at Susqehanna Speedway. We will run weekly on Saturdays at Path Valley Speedway to keep Matt in the seat and sharp. We will run the 358 Sprint on the Susqehanna Speedway "practice" tour that usually runs every other wednesday thru-out the year. Once we feel Matt is comfortable and ready to go we will park the 270 car for good and focus solely on his 358 Sprintcar career. We have prepared the 2009 Maxim car for Susqehanna Speedway and we're working on the 2012 Maxim car for Lincoln Speedway. We have recently ordered a new 2013 Maxim car and will prepare that car for Williamsgrove Speedway. At the end of the season we will be selling all of Matt's 270 equipment and the 2009 Maxim car which will leave MCR Racing with a 2012 & 2013 Maxim in the shop to run at Lincoln Speedway on Saturdays and Williamsgrove Speedway on Fridays.

The 358 Sprintcar goes to SC Signs & Designs for graphics on Feb. 23rd. We have added photos to the gallery of the 358 sprintcar build and will have updated photos in about a week or so of the 358 car with the completed graphics. Check back to see what a great job Sean at SC Signs always does for us.

We would also like to take this time to Thank all our long term sponsors. Harrington Bodyshop Inc., Ramsey Ford, Kayfield Automotive Paint and James A. Quick Mechanical Contractors Inc. These great people and business's have been supporting Matt's racing efforts his entire 10 year career which saw him get started in 2004 with 50cc kidkart. A simple Thank You just doesn't seem like enough !

We would also like to say Thank You to Adrian Shaffer for his experience and guidance as we transition into the big car ranks. He has made it so much easier for us. Also a Big Thank You goes out to Danny Bilka, the best machinest and Fab guy I have ever seen. Danny ALWAYS ! takes care of whatever special needs the team has right away. Puts us to the head of the line knowing as a race team usually when we need or break something we need it today not 3 days from now.
