Millwood shows speed in Prairie Dirt Classic preliminary feature on Friday night
With the 34th-running of the Prairie Dirt Classic on the horizon, Tyler Millwood checked into Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway early for the FloRacing Night in America event on Wednesday evening.
Among a strong 64-car field, Millwood found himself stuck in the back of a B-Main where he finished outside of a transfer position.
Finally kicking off the Prairie Dirt Classic on Friday evening, Millwood laid down a very strong lap in qualifying which earned him a front-row starting position in the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature. When the green flag dropped, Tyler faded to finish 10th.
Finishing fifth in his last chance showdown on Saturday, Tyler did not make the $50,000-to-win finale but did make the Prairie Dirt Shootout where he would finish fourth.
