The Show Goes On
Tuesday's With TY- The Show Goes On.
Owasso, OK | May 12, 2015- Before we get started the THR team would like to wish a very happy birthday to team mom Tina Hulsey. Happy birthday and thank you for all you do for us. Moving along, with a week off from POWRi West racing, and well all racing the team prepares for the Texas Swing this weekend with a trip to Boyd and Greenville, TX. While the past few weeks have been spent devoting time to solve problems with the new car the team believes the problems have been solved. None the less both THR midgets will be loaded and taken on the trip.
While the Owasso High School class of 2015 will be attending their graduation ceremonies, Ty will be buckling into his race car, and picking up valuable seat time and season points Friday night. When asked how he felt about missing his graduation Ty said “It doesn't bother me too much, I haven't attended hardly any high school events because I'm always gone racing, haven't went to prom so it's not to big of a deal id rather be racing!” We then asked him what was next for him to which he replied “If we continue to run how we are and keep improving I think we will be onto bigger and better things in the near future. That’s my goal and I won't quit until I reach it.”
Back on the subject of preparing to race the new car Ty had this to say about adjusting and learning the new motor chassis combo “There's gonna be some getting used to, but I think we can go out and really turn up the heat on everyone quickly."
