Midget Racing
Wesley climbed behind the wheel of a EcoTech Midget at the 2013 Twister Nationals at I44 Riverside Speedway on Oct 11 and 12th. Wesley had never wheeled a Midget before and we were very excited to see if he could drive it. Wesley left no doubt in our minds as he went out to hotlap and looked very comfortable in the car. After handling issues in the heat race Wesley would transfer through the B main into the A main. Starting 21 out of 22 he quickly started picking them off and was making a pass for 6th with 3 laps to go when another car got into him and ended his night with a 16th place finish. Saturday night was plagued with car issues and we missed the transfer by 1 position.
