Howard Enters 35th Annual Chili Bowl Nationals

Howard Moore was one of 309 Midget drivers to converge at the River Spirit Expo Center in Tulsa, Okla. for the 35th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals.

Piloting the Chris Chappue-owned No. 41 Midget, Moore started second in his preliminary heat race on Tuesday. Finishing second, Howard was locked into the second-starting position for his qualifier. He slipped to a fifth-place finish, sending him to a B-Main where he fell just short of a transfer position into the preliminary night feature.

On Saturday afternoon, the final day of the 3th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals came to life. Via points, Howard started third in the second F-Feature. Recording a fifth-place finish, Moore advanced to the E-Feature. Unfortunately, Howard would fail to reach a transfer position to the event, bringing his Chili Bowl efforts to an end.
