Parker Price-Miller Gets Started With Destiny Motorsports
PETERSEN MEDIA: Parker Price-Miller took over the reigns to the Destiny Motorsports entry on Friday and Saturday night with the World of Outlaws, and despite some first night issues, Price-Miller was happy with how things went.
“The results weren’t where we wanted to be, but it was our first weekend out together, and we seemed to click and improve every time we hit the track,” Parker Price-Miller said.
Friday night at Eldora Speedway, Price-Miller kicked his new venture off by timing the MonDak Portables/Ft. Union Supply and Trading/Townline Variety backed entry in 13th quickest in his qualifying flight.
Battling brake issues much of the night, Price-Miller would finish ninth in his heat race, before making a couple of late moves in the ‘B’ main to transfer into the 30-lap feature event.
Continuing to work on the Destiny Motorsports entry’s brake issues after the semi, Price-Miller would do a very nice job on the slick ½ mile speedway. Patiently working his way forward, Price-Miller would close out his first night in the car with a 17th place finish.
Traveling to Lernerville Speedway on Saturday night, the Kokomo, IN driver got off to a much better start as he timed in ninth quickest in qualifying time trails before racing his way to a third place finish in heat racing action.
Still fighting some pesky brake troubles, Price-Miller wasn’t able to do much in the feature event as he would go backwards after taking the green flag in the ninth starting position. On the slick surface, Price-Miller continued to fight hard despite having some issues and ended the weekend with a 20th place finish.
“I really have to thank these guys for working so hard for me,” Price Miller added. “They got back from California and put a new Triple X together for last weekend, and never gave up. We were able to go shake our car down on Monday night, and we think we have our brake issues figured out.”
Destiny Motorsports would like to thank MonDak Portables, Ft. Union Supply and Trading, Townline Variety, Champion Brand Lubricants, All Star Performance, KSE Racing Products, CSI Race Shocks, HRP, Triple X, PPM Titanium, Chalk Stix, Wilwood, Keizer Wheels, Simpson, Petersen Media, My Race Pass, Speedway Engines, FK Rod Ends, Boss Signs and Graphics, Classic Ink, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, C&H Veteran Enterprises, Hoosier Tires North, and BulterBuilt for their continued support.
