Countdown to the Lowes Foods World of Outlaws World Finals Presented By Bimbo Bakeries and Tom’s Snacks World Finals: 10 Days
Concord, NC—October 24, 2010— The Fourth Annual Lowes Foods World of Outlaws World Finals Presented By Bimbo Bakeries and Tom’s Snacks at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina is quickly approaching, November 4-6 for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, along with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds. In the 15 days leading up to the three-day action packed season ender, World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series drivers will share their thoughts on what has become one of the “Must See” marquee events of the year.
Next up is Chad Kemenah, who has competed in the World Finals each and every year since its inception in 2007. He was third quick in time trials for the finale of the 2008 edition of the event with a stout field of cars in attendance. The veteran from Findlay, Ohio has raced in nine main events at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in his career, with a runner-up finish in May of 2006 the best of the lot. Kemenah has three career Top-10 finishes at the track with each of those coming the spring race.
Chad Kemenah, Driver of the No. 63 Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks Maxim:
“It’s a pretty neat event. It will be even more exciting this year with the Big Block Modifieds there with us. The atmosphere around that place that week is something in itself. I’m looking forward to it, but I hate to see the season end. I like the Late Models, so it will be fun to watch them down there and we don’t get to see them very often. I’m sure they will put on a good race just like everyone else will.”
The finale of the World Finals will air live on SPEED on Saturday, November 6 beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern, with Bobby Gerould on the call with Hall of Famer Brad Doty offering expert analysis.
