JONESTOWN, Pa. (October 22, 2018) – Brock Zearfoss’ first-ever visit to the Sunflower State for World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series competition was filled with promise. Although results were shy of a top-ten score, the weekend was movitating for the pilot of the Destiny Motorsports No. 4, highlighting the two-race run with a KSE Hard Charger Award in Kansas City on Friday, October 19.

Zearfoss, a two-time Pennsylvania winner in 2018, as well as a one-time winner with the Greatest Show On Dirt, followed the Outlaws to Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City Friday, October 19, followed by a stop at Dodge City Raceway Park on Saturday, October 20. The ‘Jonestown Jet’ finished 11th and 14th, respectively, during his Kansas visit, kicking off the weekend with a hard charge from 19th at Lakeside. The eventual KSE Hard Charger Award did not come easy as Zearfoss was forced to race his way through the evening’s Last Chance Showdown after not transferring through his respective heat race.

“We had a lot of fun. It’s not easy visiting new tracks against that level of competition. But, my team worked hard and they gave me a great car both nights. I can’t thank them enough for their efforts,” Brock Zearfoss said. “We have our eyes set on Port Royal Speedway this weekend. We’ve had this weekend circled for a long time.”

Up next on the schedule, Brock Zearfoss and Destiny Motorsports will venture back to the Keystone State for the 51st running of the Tuscarora 50 on October 26 & 27, ready to challenge the Greatest Show On Dirt at the Port Royal ‘Speed Palace’ for a total weekend winner’s share equaling $59,000; $8,000 on Friday and $51,000 on Saturday.

Zearfoss, a five-time winner at the Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile in 2017, was the 2017 Port Royal Speedway sprint car track champion.
