Brian Shirley visits victory lane at Tri-City

Friday night found Brian Shirley in action at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) piloting the No. 33 Late Model. Following a fifth-to-second run in his heat, Shirley charged from the fourth-starting position in the feature to register his ninth win of the season. On Saturday evening at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.), Shirley scored a second-place finish in the 30-lap feature. He trailed Daryn Klein to the checkers with Dane Dacus, Michael Kloos, and Chad Zobrist rounding out the Top-5.
