Early exit in Diamond Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway

With his first two events of the weekend rained out, Bob Cullen Racing pilot Brian Shirley made his lone start of the weekend on Saturday afternoon at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) for the 15th annual CMH Diamond Nationals. In a field of 34 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Shirley followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a runner-up finish in his B-Main.
