Hodges Motorsports Update - Las Vegas

Well we finished up the season tonight, at least until New Year's, here at LVMS for the Las Vegas Sprint Car Super Nationals. I got started by pulling pill 19, putting me third in the third heat race. The track was completely different from the night before, slick from top to bottom. I ran third for awhile until Darren Long and Johnny Herrera got me with a few laps to go. That set us up to start 9th in the third B main, an improvement from last night. The track by now had taken rubber and was one groove around the bottom. I got a really good start in the B, and moved my self up to 4th, picking a couple cars off early, until a late caution which set me third, where I would finish, just one spot out of the A feature. It was a good run starting that far back, and the car was handling really well, but we were still a little disappointed we couldn't put it in the show. We're looking forward to IMIS in Indianapolis next weekend, and as of now it looks like our next race will be the Roger McCluskey Memorial at USA Raceway in Tucson, AZ around New Year's weekend. Also, congratulations to Jason Johnson for taking the ASCS National title in Las Vegas.
