Hodges Motorsports Update - USA Raceway Night 2

Western World Night 2 is in the books here at the USA Raceway in Tucson, AZ. Running the winged car tonight, I started off pulling pill number 25. That set us up to start 4th in the third heat race, and I finished 3rd behind Shane Stewart and Roger Crockett. The track had slick spots, but was still very fast. That did not put us in the top 8 re-draw, but it was good enough to start 11th in the feature. Tonight had an evil cushion a few feet...if that...off the wall with little to no good grip to find on the bottom lane. I fell back to 14th or so and hung around there, gaining and losing spots all through the race, and eventually finishing 14th. Our car was probably as fast as the 6th or 7th place guys, but we were to far back to tell. We'll have to come out of the B mains tomorrow, but I am confident in both cars, and their ability to git er' done. We'd like to thank Mark Rosburough for his dedication and help, and congratulate Johnny Herrera on his hardfought battle upfront, taking the win tonight, and putting him on the front row in Saturday's feature.
