The Western World Championships are finished and I fell like we had a pretty good run. In non-wing, I had to start 3rd in the 1st B-main and backed up on the start a couple spots and after that I got in rythm on the top side and ran up to 5th again. I feel I had a better car but once I got to running the top we were already strung out quite a bit. Then in the wing car, I started 8th in the B-main and started picking off couple cars until I found myself running 4th, one spot out of the transfer. The car was really good and I think I was catching the leaders until I started to feel a vibration and a hub broke on the RF corner coming out of turn 2 with about 4 laps to go. I was disappointed but I know we were really good, especially when you are running against some of the toughest competition in the nation. Now, today I am heading to the banquet here in Tucson, AZ after finishing 3rd in ASCS Southwest Series points and also 3rd in the Discount Tire Challenge. Congratulations to all the winners and this year's champions.
