Kyle Reinhardt signed in at Lincoln Speedway Saturday night for the 20th Annual Weldon Sterner Memorial looking to bounce back from a substandard night at the Abbottstown oval earlier in April.
In his most recent outing at BAPS Motor Speedway, the Neptune City, NJ native dialed in the Capitol Custom Coaches & Trailers, Capitol Renegade, Coors Banquet Beer, E-Z-GO Golf Cars, Henry’s Wrecker Service No.91 over the course of the night and bounced back for a solid night.
With $20,000 awaiting the winner and an elevated purse throughout the field, Reinhardt was ready to get back to work.
QUICK RESULTS
DATE: April 20, 2024
Event: 20th Annual Weldon Sterner Memorial
Division: 410 Sprint Cars
Track: Lincoln Speedway
City, State: Abbottstown, PA
Stats: 32 cars, Group 2 Qualifying 3rd, Heat 3rd (2), A-main 9th (12)
GOING THE RIGHT DIRECTION
To set the field for the lucrative event, the 32 cars on hand were divided into four groups. Drivers qualified against the cars in their group using time trials followed by heat races.
Reinhardt was the third car to hit the track in group two qualifying. He laid down the 3rd quickest lap in the group, which put him on the front row for his heat race.
In the 10-lap qualifying race, Freddie Rahmer slipped under Reinhardt in turn one on the opening lap, dropping the No.91 to 3rd.
Reinhardt had an opportunity to return the favor on a restart with eight laps remaining but couldn’t find an opening to reclaim the runner-up spot. He held a firm grasp on 3rd the rest of the way.
From his starting spot outside row six in the 40-lap finale, Reinhardt raced his way into the top ten by lap three. Late in the first half of the race, he briefly slipped out of the top ten but using a lap eighteen restart to his advantage, he battled all the way back to the 9th spot as the race reached the halfway mark.
Over the final twenty laps, Reinhardt pursued 8th place Devon Borden using the low side of the speedway. A restart with seven laps remaining gave Reinhardt another chance to go on the attack. He pressured Borden for 8th but he could not wrestle it away and settled for the 9th place finish.
“I’m happy with the progress. We made some good changes and had a better car than 9th but that’s racing sometimes.”, Reinhard commented.
UP NEXT
A two-race weekend is on the horizon for Reinhardt. He will make his first visit of 2024 to Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, April 27th for the Keith Kauffman Classic.
On Sunday, April 28th, he will be in attendance at BAPS Motor Speedway’s 410 sprint car show.

PARTNER SPOTLIGHT: Coors Banquet Beer
HISTORY
Coors Banquet beer was first brewed 150 years ago. It was the original product brewed by Adolph Coors in Colorado when he first established his brewery in 1873.
Over those 150 years, Coors has not compromised their craft. Since day one Coors Banquet has been brewed only in Golden, Colorado, with Rocky Mountain spring water and Moravian barley.
The company celebrated its sesquicentennial on September 30th, 2023 with a huge street festival in the town where it all began – Golden, Colorado. This memorable event featured a lineup of live musical performances, local artisans, brewery tours, limited-edition merch, and great food and beer.
