Ryan Unzicker charges to $5,000 FALS Cup at Fairbury

Ryan Unzicker returned to action on Saturday afternoon with a short trip to Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) for the special FALS Cup event presented by Popejoy Plumbing, Heating, Electric and Geothermal.

Following the third-fastest qualifying effort, Unzicker raced into the main event with a runner-up showing in his heat race. Silencing a late-charging Jason Feger in the 30-lap affair, Ryan rolled to the $5,000 victory, his sixth overall on the 2023 campaign. He finished 1.473 seconds ahead of Feger with Brandon Eskew, Dennis Erb Jr., and Rich Bell completing the top-five finishers.
