Starks Tackling USCS Doubleheader on the East Coast This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – PUYALLUP, Wash. (Oct. 25, 2015) – Trey Starks has a change of plans for this week.

Starks, who will drive for Jeff McCall, will compete with the USCS Series on Friday at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, N.C., and Saturday at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, S.C. It will mark his debut at both tracks.

“We had planned on racing at the Short Track Nationals, but due to unforeseen circumstances we need to race closer to Jeff’s shop in North Carolina,” he said. “I haven’t raced at either track so I’m looking forward to two new challenges.”

Starks was victorious during his first weekend with McCall earlier this month in Florida. The duo recorded back-to-back podium results with the USCS Series, including a feature victory.

“It’s great to know that we have a winning combination from the start,” Starks said. “That is certainly a boost of confidence going into this weekend. I know I can win out there and I know the car is capable of winning so that’s the goal for Friday and Saturday.”

Starks has already earned seven feature victories this season, which more than doubles his previous season high of three. He’s also won four of his last nine features in three different states.
