Scelzi, Ball, Blurton, Dover and Swindell Capture Wins for Team ILP
Inside Line Promotions – LEWISTOWN, Pa. (June 30, 2016) – Inside Line Promotions drivers Giovanni Scelzi, Jamie Ball, Zach Blurton, Jack Dover and Sammy Swindell were victorious last weekend.
Scelzi garnered his third straight micro sprint triumph in his family car on Friday at Plaza Park Raceway in Visalia, Calif. He also earned a third-place result in a sprint car on Saturday at Antioch Speedway in Antioch, Calif.
Ball led the distance of Saturday’s 360ci sprint car main event at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, for his first victory of the season.
Blurton recorded his second win of the year on Saturday at Colorado Motorsports Park in Byers, Colo. He also charged from 16th to fifth place during a make-up feature that night and he placed fourth the previous night at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Neb.
Dover scored a trip to the Winner’s Circle for the third straight weekend last Saturday at Park Jefferson International Speedway in Jefferson, S.D., where he won the Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprints event to extend his lead in the points standings. Dover also ended second the following night at Badlands Motor Speedway in Brandon, S.D.
Swindell used a last-lap pass to claim his 49th career win at Knoxville Raceway on Saturday with the National Sprint League.

Ryan Smith posted a runner-up result on Wednesday at Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Md., and a fifth-place finish on Sunday at Path Valley Speedway Park in Spring Run, Pa., during Pennsylvania Speedweek.
Chase Johnson earned his first career podium finish with the King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series on Friday at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville, Calif.
Zac Taylor recorded his third straight second-place result in a midget on Saturday at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colo.
Big Game Motorsports driver Danny Lasoski rallied for a third-place finish on Saturday at Knoxville Raceway to take over the lead in the championship standings.
Seth Bergman picked up his best career Dirt Cup finish with a third-place result on Saturday at Skagit Speedway in Alger, Wash., with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour.
Derek Hagar notched his 11th straight podium finish on Friday at Moulton Speedway in Moulton Ala., where he ended third in the ASCS Southern Outlaw Sprints feature.
Joe Trenca garnered his first podium of the season on Saturday at Stateline Speedway in Busti, N.Y., where he placed third during the Patriot Sprint Tour event.
Devin Kline picked up a fourth-place finish on Saturday at Knoxville Raceway.
Johnny Herrera maneuvered to a fifth-place result at the 45th annual Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup last Saturday at Skagit Speedway with the ASCS National Tour.
