Briar steers to eighth-place finish at Needmore
The Cheatham Racing team returned to action on Saturday afternoon with both Briar and Jake competing at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) for the fifth annual Morgan Sheffield Memorial.
With both drivers rolling off on the seventh row for the feature via time trial results, Jake got collected in a tangle while challenging for the top-five that resulted in an early exit. Briar charged forward six positions in 25-lap affair to finish eighth.
