Midwest Sprint Touring Series
Preview: South Dakota Sprint Car Nationals at Park Jefferson
The 2021 season for the Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series begins with an early April double-header at Park Jefferson Speedway. The 360 sprint cars tackle the Siouxland speed plant on Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10.
Each night is a complete show with heat races and features. Friday’s portion of the weekend pays the winner a cool $1,500 for the victory. Saturday’s winner will take home $2,500 and the championship title for the event.

Park Jefferson Speedway is no stranger to the MSTS competitors, hosting 14 events for the series dating back to the inaugural season of 2015. In fact, Jack Dover swept all MSTS events at Park Jefferson in 2015 and 2016 – in all he’s been to victory lane there under the MSTS banner in seven events – most recently on May 23, 2020.
Justin Henderson is the most recent MSTS winner at the track, taking home the win last August 22. Besides Dover, only Cody Ledger has repeated as a winner at the track with MSTS – taking wins in 2019 and 2017. The defending MSTS series champion, Eric Lutz, took a win at park at the 2018 South Dakota Sprint Car Nationals. Jason Martin scored a win at the track in 2019. Thomas Kennedy and Gregg Bakker have also won MSTS sanctioned shows at Park Jefferson.
The RepairableVehicles.com Tri-State Late Model Series will co-headline the weekend action. IMCA modifieds and IMCA stock cars complete the card for each night of competition.
Fans looking for tickets should visit www.parkjeff.com and visit the schedule section. For the stands, adult tickets are $18, seniors 65+ are $16, children 6-16 are $5.
The pit area opens at 4 p.m. each day with hot laps at 6:30. MSTS draw will cut off at 6 p.m. Friday pit passes are $35 and Saturday pit passes are $40.
