It's Good To Be 77
With an "x" or without, 77 was the number that prevailed over the weekend. Wayne Johnson picked up his second consecutive American Sprint Car Series victory of the season at the Devil’s Bowl Speedway in his new EAGLE car. The second consecutive win in his new EAGLE car. Leading non-stop on the opening night of the 42nd annual Devil’s Bowl Winter Nationals, Wayne was more than pleased with the car’s handling. "This is the second night on this car and won again,” said Johnson, earning his 45th career National Tour triumph over a forty five car field.
Maryborough Speedway hosted the 360 sprint cars to kick off the 2015/2016 season. With seven different classes circling the track, conditions were great with some of the best racing seen in the passed few years. When the checkers flew it was Jayden Peacock in his EAGLE car that earned the win.
