Grin and Bear it!

Coming off a career high win, EMi’s own, Frank Galusha scored yet another major victory in the Super 600 feature on Tuesday night, kicking off the 3rd Annual California Speedweek at Dixon Speedway. The $1000 victory in the 30 lap feature earned him his first carved bear trophy and came in his debut at the track. He earned the pole position for the 22 car feature and led the opening lap of the main event. With the top seven cars nose-to-tail in a tightly wound lead pack, Galusha relinquished the lead only to take it back on lap 17. After the race, Frank noted; “the EMi STALLARD SST was a Cadillac to drive, the CSI's had us stuck as always, and the Competitive Performance power plant with Engler on top was an absolute hammer!” The Speedweek continues Wednesday at Delta Speedway in Stockton before concluding in Visalia and Lemoore on Friday and Saturday night.

Jake Galusha wasn’t to be denied the Roy Cooley Classic trophy. For the second consecutive year Jake was the winged outlaw feature winner at Jefferson County Speedway in Fairbury, NE. A happy victory lane included Jeff Cooley, Roy’s son, who Jake awarded his winners plaque.

James Kennedy broke the one lap track record recording a blistering 12.9 second round at Moranbah Speedway in Queensland Australia. Winning the feature in his STALLARD SST in the second running of the F500 Winter Nationals.
