EMi's own, Frank Galusha, swept the South Dakota Spring Nationals. The Lincoln, NE based driver led every lap of racing action on his way to two heat race wins and two feature triumphs, earning the track bonus for winning on both Friday and Saturday in action at Raceway Park in Jefferson, S.D. The new STALLARD SST dominated the field of Miniakota Micro Sprints.
Seth Bergman put together a strong performance last Friday at Creek County Speedway, where he captured his third victory of the season. Bergman led all 25 laps of the ASCS Red River Region event at the quarter-mile oval, where he last won in 2013 and has recorded a triumph during four of the last six years. Bergman kicked off the night in his EAGLE by winning his heat race after starting on the outside of the front row.
Seth stated; "when you set goals like I do these are stepping stones on the way to that. I’m not in this for the little things. I’m in sprint car racing for the big accomplishments.”
C.J. Johnson raced his EAGLE into the lead midway through the 20-lap DCRP Sprint Car feature en route to victory lane. C.J. survived some dicey moments through lapped traffic in the closing laps to hold on for the victory. “These don’t come easy, so it’s good to get ‘em any way you can,” Johnson commented in victory lane.
