Eric Gannon Scores 24th Career Sportsman Win
Points Race #3 for the Red Bluff Outlaws took place on Sunday, October 30th as the second part of a double header weekend of racing. This was a special one as it marked the 11th Annual Tyler Wolf Memorial at the Red Bluff Outlaws.
In total 29 drivers signed in to compete in the Tyler Wolf Memorial for the Sportsman Class.
The day began with Nate Lynch of Chico, CA setting Fast Time while subbing for the #52 of Larry McKee. Lynch turned a lap time of 8.741 seconds to earn the Fast Time Honors in Qualifying.
Heat Race #1 saw Chico, CA driver Jimmy Pettit earn his 2nd Heat Race Win of the season in his Mac Tools, Earl's Plumbing, #24p machine.
Heat Race #2 saw Red Bluff, CA driver Braedon Enos pilot his L&T Towing, Inc., Thornton Family Racing #00 entry to victory. The Heat Race win was his first of the season with the Red Bluff Outlaws.
Heat Race #3 was claimed by Cottonwood, CA driver Jojo Owens in his RB3 Racing, SRT Karts #68b machine. The Heat Race Win was his first of the season with the Red Bluff Outlaws.
Heat Race #4 saw Redding, CA driver Eric Gannon pick up the win in his 4Front Racing Engines, Gannon-Johns Racing #75e entry. The Heat Race win was his first of the season with the Red Bluff Outlaws.
The B-Feature was won by Anderson, Ca driver Matt Butler.
The Trophy Dash was claimed by the #75e of Eric Gannon. The Dash win was his first of the season and secured him the Pole Position for the night's 25 Lap Main Event.
The A-Main Event saw Eric Gannon show the way in his #75e entry en route to his record 24th career win in the Sportsman Class. It was also his 2nd Tyler Wolf Memorial Triumph (2018). Finishing 2nd in the McKee Racing #21 entry was Bella Vista, CA driver Glen McKee. 3rd place went to 3-Time Sportsman Track Champion Beau Perkins in his own #35 entry.
