Clayton Stuckey attends pair of MARS events; Jarret fifth in Whynot stop
Traveling to the Midwest on Friday afternoon, Clayton Stuckey traveled to Jacksonville Speedway (Jacksonville, Ill.) for the first of two MARS Championship Series events over the weekend.
Following a fifth-place run in his heat, Clayton was an early retiree on lap 18 in the Wild Man Kelley Classic and was scored 17th.
For the Tribute to Ed Dixon on Saturday at Federated Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.), Stuckey nabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race before getting caught up in the big one during the $5,000-to-win feature. He wound up 21st.
On Saturday afternoon, Jarret Stuckey stayed closer to home at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) for the Paw Paw George Memorial with the Mississippi State Challenge Series.
With a disappointing lap in qualifying, Jarret stormed through the field in the lengthy 40-lap feature to score a Top-5 finish in fifth.
