Adam rolls to pair of Top-10 finishes with MARS at I-55 and Adams County
With the Summer Nationals in the rear view mirror, Daniel Adam returned to MARS Late Model competition on Friday afternoon with a visit to Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway.
With a strong group of 35 Late Models gathered, Adam laid down the fourth-quickest in his group before locking up second in his heat race. Starting eighth in the first A-Main of the weekend, Daniel DNF'd with an 18th-place finish.
As the field ballooned to 42 entries at I-55 Raceway (Pevely, Mo.) on Saturday, Adam was fastest in his group and earned a front-row starting position from his heat race win. Battling a rough and tumble racetrack, Daniel did not complete all 40-laps but managed a 10th-place finish.
Wrapping up the weekend at Adams County Speedway (Quincy, Ill.) on Sunday, Adam missed the setup in qualifying but made up for it in the 40-lap feature and charged to a 10th-place outing.
