Daniel Adam scores Top-10 finish in Herald & Review 100 at Macon Speedway
In attendance for another week of Hell Tour competition, Daniel Adam followed the DIRTcar Summer Nationals to Springfield (Mo.) Raceway on Tuesday afternoon.
With 29 Late Models signed in for the week three opener, Adam laid down the quickest lap in his qualifying group before slipping back to third in his heat race. Rolling off ninth in the $5,000-to-win feature, Daniel faded back to finish 16th.
Wednesday's event at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) was rained out.
Checked in at Macon (Ill.) Speedway for the Herald and Review 100, Adam started 10th in the 100 lapper and survived a tough feature event to land inside the Top-10 in ninth.
At Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway on Friday, Daniel matched his ninth-place finish before a 13th-place run in Saturday's $10,000-to-win feature at Highland (Ill.) Speedway.
Wrapping up week three at Red Hill Raceway (Sumner, Ill.), Adam finished 15th in Sunday's $5,000-to-win feature.
Adam finished seventh in the weekly points chase.
