Trey Mills returns to Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Duck River Raceway Park

After a lengthy summer hiatus from the series, Trey Mills joined the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Duck River Raceway Park (Shelbyville, Tenn.) on Friday evening for night one of the Deep Fried 75 weekend.

With 34 Super Late Models signed in, Mills finished third in his last chance showdown before starting 15th in the $5,000-to-win feature and finishing 16th.

For Saturday's $20,000-to-win finale, Trey picked up the pace by setting quicktime in his qualifying group but fell back two spots in his heat race to third. Starting ninth in the 75-lap main event, Mills faded to 15th.

Mills is currently seventh in the HTFSDS point standings.
