Following an eighth-place finish in his heat race on Tuesday, Mills fell short of a transfer spot in his B-Main with a sixth-place finish.
In a field of 58 cars on Wednesday as the remainder of the week became World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series sanctioned, Trey came in ninth in his heat before placing eighth in his B-Main, ending his night early.
For another $10,000-to-win A-Main on Thursday, Mills’ ninth-place finish in his heat relegated him into the B-Main. Needing to finish second or better to make the show, Trey slipped back to a 13th-place outing.
After failing to qualify for the Friday’s feature in his heat race and B-Main, Trey improved three spots in his heat on Saturday to finish sixth, giving him one final shot at the $10,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Taking the Top 2, Mills logged a 10th-place finish.
