Tanner Mullens attends Cajun Clash at Ark-La-Tex Speedway
On Thursday evening, Tanner Mullens entered his Sandlian Iron & Metal No. 02 Modified into battle with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) at Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, La.) for the 10th annual Cajun Clash.
Amongst a field of 59 Modifieds, Tanner failed to qualify for the opener in his heat before going fifth-to-second in his B-Main. Moving forward five spots in the preliminary feature, Mullens crossed the line 12th.
The following night, Mullens missed a transfer spot in his heat and consolation race, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the feature. With $5,000 on the line, Tanner passed 10 cars in the 40-lapper to finish ninth.
The weekend drew to a close on Saturday with Tanner using a provisional into the $10,000-to-win Cajun Clash finale and racing from 23rd-to-16th in the 50-lap affair.
