Martin competes with World of Outlaws and Southern All Stars

Parker Martin was one of 51 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries on hand at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the ninth annual Tennessee Tipoff. Coming in seventh in his heat race, Martin transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Needing to place second or better, Parker logged an eighth-place outing.

On Sunday afternoon at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the Southern All Star Series-sanctioned March Madness, Parker timed in 14th fastest in his group before placing seventh in his heat. Transferring the Top 3 from the B-Main into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Martin came one spot shy with a fourth-place finish.
