Summer Showdown brings Martin to Smoky Mountain

Saturday night saw Parker Martin return to action at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) for the American Crate All-Star Series-sanctioned Smoky Mountain Summer Showdown. With 32 Late Models entered, Martin came in fifth in his heat before placing second in his B-Main. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 20th, Parker was an early retiree from the 60-lapper on lap 53.
