Drake Troutman runner-up in Vince Gaston Memorial at Thunder Mountain Speedway

Fresh off his triumph at Lernerville, Drake Troutman found himself in action at Georgetown (Del.) Speedway for a $3,000-to-win Super Late Model special.

In the main event, Troutman came home sixth after starting on the fourth-row.

Checked in at Thunder Mountain Speedway (Brookville, Pa.) on Friday afternoon, Troutman was one of 29 Super Late Models checked in for the Vince Gaston Memorial.

Stopping the clock second-fastest, Drake was victorious in his heat race which landed him a front row starting spot in the main event. With $8,000 on the line, Troutman battled with the Top-3 and eventually settled for a runner-up finish behind Gregg Satterlee.
