Troutman enjoys solid weekend with both cars in Indiana

Drake Troutman trekked to Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) on Friday afternoon to kick off a tripleheader competing in both his Late Model and Modified. In a field of 17 Ultimate Heart of America Series entries, Drake secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a second-place finish in his heat. Holding his spot for all 50-laps, Troutman notched a fourth-place finish. He followed Tyler Erb, Devin Gilpin, and Kent Robinson across the line with Joe Godsey coming in fifth.

For the Renegades of Dirt Modified event, Troutman topped the charts in time trials before finishing third in the Dash. Losing two spots late in the A-Main, Drake scored a fifth-place finish.

On Saturday at Shadyhill Speedway (Medaryville, Ind.), Drake battled with Tyler Erb for the lead in the Late Model feature but contact with a lapped-car ended his night early.

With a runner-up finish in his Dash locking him on the front row for his Modified feature, Troutman faded two spots to finish fourth.

Returning to Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) on Sunday to only compete in his Modified, Drake came in second in his heat but pulled off early in his feature.
