McCRACKEN MASTERS DRP SIXERS

Wisconsin Dells WI-Dustin McCracken of Elroy WI came from his tenth place starting spot weaving his way thru traffic to win the Blystone Towing and Recovery night Six-Shooter A-Main Saturday at Dells Raceway Park. Tim Murphy Sr. And Phillip Klinkner brought the rowdy field of blue color racers to the line for their 18 lap Feature. As is normal in the Six Shooter class the field fanned out 2 and 3 wide in an all out sprint to the front Murphy would take the initial lead. Dustin McCracken would jump to the third row outside to start his march to the front after starting 5th row outside, by lap 6 the 25 was in the lead. Matt Moore had a much tougher road to take to make his way to the front to battle the 25. After a late race caution the stage was set for a classic battle between the 25 and the 90 the went right into an all out fight for the win. Try as he may Moore just didn’t have enough to pass the 25 of McCracken as he would walk away. Brian Smith would beat the battle worn 90 off Moore to the line for a strong 2nd place finish, Tim Murphy Sr. was 4th followed by Joshua Zacharias. Dustin McCracken would bring home quick time with a lap of 17.734. The heat races were won by Brian Smith and Nick DiCiaula. The Six Shooters return to action at DRP on August 5th for the Auto Value Parts Stores Night at the races
