David Seibers Opens 2020 Season at East Bay for Winternationals
David Seibers made the trip to East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) on Monday night powering his G.P.S. Motorsports No. 18 Late Model entry for the 44th annual Wrisco Winternationals. In a stout field of 62 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, David came in 8th in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. The following night for another $5,000-to-win A-Main, Seibers recorded a 9th place finish in his heat, giving him one more shot at the A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Sending only the race winner, David logged a 12th place finish.
For the third round of the Wrisco Winternationals on Wednesday evening, David followed up the 13th fastest lap in his time trial group with a 9th place finish in his heat race. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the $7,000-to-win A-Main, Seibers logged a 9th place outing.
On Thursday night, Seibers fell two spots short of at transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Needing to win his B-Main to make the A-Main, David recorded a 3rd place finish.
After coming in 9th in his heat race on Friday evening, David posted a 10th place finish in his B-Main, bringing an early end to his night.
Wrapping up the 44th annual Wrisco Winternationals on Saturday afternoon, Seibers recorded a 7th place finish in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main. Transferring only the race winner into the $12,000-to-win finale, David recorded a 6th place finish.
