Weekend Recap
Thursday 8/8 - Park Jefferson
8 cars checked into Park Jefferson Speedway on Thursday night. In the heat race, we started 7th and worked our way up to 4th place. Starting 5th place in the field, we ended our night finishing 6th. Congrats to Rusty Montague on the win!
Friday 8/9 - Night off
We took Friday night off this week to work on the car and get some small things prepared for our future trips. Truck and trailer maintenance and also working and finding little things on the car.
Saturday - 8/10 Off Road Speedway
14 cars checked in to start the night off. We started 6th in the heat race, and had some good competition. We ended the heat race in 3rd place, and redrew #10 for the feature. Once again, Willys drawing skills are "amazing." Knowing Willy, he always likes a good challenge to get to the front. On lap number 3, he was up to 3rd place behind Cameron Meyer and Kyle Wilkinson. With 8 laps remaining in the race, Willy was able to take the lead and held on for the rest of the race. That is win #4 for the season and first at Off Road Speedway this year.
Sunday - 8/11 Interstate Speedway
20 sport mods checked in at Interstate Speedway on Sunday night. Starting 4th in the heat race, Willy crossed the checkered flags in 1st. Feature race, Willy started 8th, and ended the night with a 4th place finish.
