2015 Season update!
I apologize for the lack of updates this year. It has been a crazy hectic last few months and we've been catching up on a lot and the website kind of took a backseat to all of that. With that said, I promise to make a solid effort to keep the schedule up to date, and appreciate the help I've gotten and all of the people that have come out to watch me race. This year we got a new Beast pavement sprint car and planned to run a limited schedule. With a lot to learn yet, we came out of the box fairly quick! We ran our first race of 2015 at Kalamazoo Speedway with the Auto Value Super Sprints. In our first time out, we managed to squeak out a 6th place finish. Next we were on to Toledo Speedway for a King of the Wings race where we finished 3rd. After Toledo we were back at Kalamazoo and finished a strong 3rd to a stout field of cars. Next up was Spartan Speedway, we finished a strong Second place behind Aaron Pierce. Lap traffic really played a factor. Berlin and Baer Field were the next two races, where Derek finished 7th and 6th while fighting a massive oil leak the entire time. We will be rebuilding the engine and trying to make the King of the Wings California trip. It is going to take some work to make it happen.
