The Legend Car Facts. What's Under the Skin.
Here are the specs as noted by the INEX sanctioning body. Some interesting facts are that there's very little a team can fashion on their own to be INEX-legal. All body parts must be made by INEX, as well as the bumpers. You can choose your own brand of seat. Shocks and springs are strictly regulated.
The engine is at least partially sealed. There is a new power plant on the horizon for INEX, but at this time they rely on a Yamaha motorcycle engine, either 1200 cc (partially sealed) or 1250 (sealed).
The tires are regulated to one brand and style. Treating them is not allowed.
Re the photos, this was from Eric's complete rebuild after a crash last year. This is pretty much what the car looks like right now, as I type this.
