Happy July 4th weekend from Lawrence Racing! We want to thank our friends and extended family members who made the trip to Sweetwater Speedway to support and watch Dillion Lawrence and Ed Henderson race. And they did not disappoint!
Congratulations to Dillion on capturing his second win at Sweetwater on Friday night! Ed lead the majority of the laps in the Friday night race with Dillion trailing in second but with only a few laps left, Dillion passed Ed for the win! Nothing like a bit of friendly competition to keep all of us on the edge of our seats. The competition continued into Saturday night when Ed and Dillion battled in 5th and 6th for several laps. After over celebrating his win on Friday night, Dillion’s "I wish I came in second" came true on Saturday night when he was able to move up after Ed brought out the caution. Ed started in the back but was able to make it back up to 6th place. What a kickin’ weekend with some fierce battling within Lawrence Racing team!
LR brought their own staff photographer to the track this weekend!! Special thanks to Chris Jameson who rolled around in the dirt and practically stood on his head to capture the action from the infield. Looking forward to seeing those photos! Thanks Jamo!
Once again, our nights wrapped up sharing some fireball and hanging out around the campfire. Thanks to everyone that made racing part of their holiday weekend!
See you all next weekend back in Delta at Millard County Raceway!
