McClelland, French, Chacon, Anderson and Denton Top Fields on Week Two of the Fast Five Weekly Series

Terry Mattox – SAPULPA, Okla. (April 3, 2016) – Sean McClelland, Matt French, Jorge Chacon, Jason Anderson and Daniel Ray Denton each topped the feature events in their respected divisions on Saturday during week two of the 2016 Fast Five Weekly Series.

Sean McClelland topped a stiff 25 car field in the Champ Sprint division. McClelland who started seventh in the 25-lap main advanced six spot to claim the victory. Brother Brian McClelland moved up three spot to salvage a second place finish. Fourth place starter, Darien Roberts advanced one spot to third. Hard charging Glen Passmore, Jr. advanced 11 spots to come home in fourth with Will Scribner rounding out the top five.

Sean McClelland, Darien Roberts, Brian McClelland and David Stephenson claimed the four heat race wins with Kevin Brewer taking the B-Feature win.

Advancing five spots to win a hard fought Modified feature event, Matt French climbed five spots for his victory in the 20-lap event. Pole setter, Joe Wright fell one position to finish in second. Ho Dean kept his third place finish in the running order. Collin Wiseley also held his fourth place starting spot at the conclusion of the Modified feature with Edward Geneva rounded out the top five.

Collin Wiseley and Joe Wright were victorious in heat race action.

Jorge Chacon was victorious in the Dwarf Car division on Saturday night at the Creek County Speedway. Starting sixth, Chacon fought his way to capture the victory. Tanner Phillips started in the fourth spot advancing up two positions to claim second. Larry Pense moved up the running order from eighth to third. Todd Renyolds came home in fourth with Sam Champlain in fifth.

Devin Bates, Jorge Chacon and Sam Champlain each earned their victories in heat race competition.

It was photo finish, with Jason Anderson topping the “Fast and Furious” Factory Stock division feature event at the line over Josh Jeffries. Anderson who started sixth advanced five spots for his victory. Jeffries who started eighth almost claimed the win, but had to settle for second. Toby Cooper fell back one spot to finish third. Jimmy Owen finished in the fourth spot and Justin hard charging six spots to round out the top five.

Bobby Wolfe swept the heat and qualifier victories.

Daniel Ray Denton survived the Mini Stock feature to show the field around the Creek County Speedway claiming the 20-lap main. Denton started fourth and advanced three spots to claim the victory. Wesley Knebel finished in the runner up spot at the checkered flag with Josh Tyre sitting on the final spot of the podium. Phillip Stewart finished fourth with Robert Lockhart claiming hard charger coming from 11 to round out the top five.

Racing action at the Creek County Speedway continues on this Friday night, April 8 with the ASCS Red River Region Winged 360 Sprint Cars, Non-Wing Champ Sprints and NOW600 Outlaw Micros headlining the “Light Up the Creek Blue” event for Autism Awareness at 8PM.

Fast Five Weekly Series racing is back in action on Saturday, April 9 at 7PM with all five classes in action: Champ Sprints, Modifieds, Dwarf Cars, Factory Stocks and Mini Stocks.
