Creek County Speedway releases 2014 Schedule

Terry Mattox – SAPULPA, Okla. (February 4, 2014) – Officials with the Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. have released the 2014 Tentative Race Schedule.

The schedule includes 23 “Fast Five Weekly Series” Points events, and six
special events.

The season will kick off on Saturday night, March 29, 2014 with the first points race for all classes in the “Fast Five Weekly Series.”

For the first time ever on Friday night, April 11 the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midget Series will invade the “Quick Quarter.”

The track that started it all for the American Sprint Car Series will host two American Bank of Okla. Sooner Regional events slated for Friday, May 9 and Friday, July 18. The Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by MAVTV American Real will visit “The Creek” on Thursday night, June 19 for “Sizzlin Summer Speedweek.”

The non-wing 360ci sprint cars of the USAC Southwest Sprint Car “Freedom Tour” will also return to CCS in 2014 on Thursday, August 14.

The “Mighty Micros” of the National Open Wheel 600 Series will grace the quarter mile clay five times in 2014. Friday, April 11; Friday, May 9; Thursday, June 19; Friday, July 18; and Thursday, August 14. Check schedule for what NOW600 classes will be racing those nights.

A tribute to one of own will be held again this year at Creek County Speedway. The 2nd Annual “Randy Wheeler Memorial” will be held on Friday night, May 23. It will be a “Fast Five Weekly Series” DOUBLE points event.
