Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway will host another doubleheader weekend of racing beginning with the Karts on Friday August 1st and concluding with the Sportsman Spectacular on Saturday the 2nd. Classes in action on Saturday include the Albany & Eastern Railroad Sportsman, Crocker’s Cars Super Sports, Street Stocks, W.R.S. Late Model Lites, and 4-Cylinders.

The Albany & Eastern Railroad Sportsman have been quite competitive this season. Five drivers are tied for the most wins on the campaign. Ron Berry, Briley Pompe, Jeff Rash, Brian Smith, and Brian Winkler have all scored two victories this year. Drivers with one win include Steve Moore and Jeff Marson.

In the Crocker’s Cars Super Sports youngster Bricen James is having a sensational season. James has visited victory lane on five occasions while the only other driver to win more than once is Gil Pickett with two triumphs. Tim Archer and Brian Thompson both have made it to the winner’s circle once in 2014.

Justin Evans still leads the Street Stocks in the win column with his three victories over Kyle Yeack’s two. Ron Shinkle, Bricen James, and Erik Jarnport have all recorded one win this year.

The W.R.S. Late Model Lites have already paid Willamette Speedway one visit in 2014 and that would see Bob Westcott earn the victory over the competition. In the 4-Cylinder division Dale Holland leads the win chart with three victories over Bo Jones and Travis Koch who each have won once.
