Feature Winners 6/20/25
GLSS #17 Jared Horstman
Hubbco IMCA Mods #12m John McClure
Street Stocks #46 David Schmidt
Sport Compacts-#7 Ryan Hamm

Friday Night, Great Lakes Super Sprints invaded I-96 Speedway once again and did not disappoint. The fans are always treated to a spectacle whenever they are a part of the program and this Friday was no different.

The line-up was stacked with contenders for the GLSS A-Main with 5th place Qualifier, Jared Horstman, starting outside pole. He got a great start outside of pole sitter, Jac Nickles, and never looked back to go on to record his 100th Feature Win. Horstman had many challenges as we would have a few restarts, but he proved to be the class of the field to park it in the Lane Automotive/Allstar Performance Victory Lane. 1st-#17 Jared Horstman 2nd-#31 Jac Nickles 3rd-#14 Kieth Sheffer Jr. 4th-#71h “Mad” Max Stambaugh 5th-#85 Dustin Daggett. The B-Main would start 13 drivers with the top 5 transferring and winning the B-Main was #13
Andy Teunessen. Heat races were won by Daggett, Horstman, and Nickles. Fast Qualifier was Daggett with a 14.051 lap time.

The Hubbco Racing Products IMCA modified A-Main is always a Friday Night Showcase as I-96 Speedway always features some of the best dirt Modified drivers in the nation each Friday Night. On this night, in just his 3rd night back behind the wheel, John McClure would take the checkered flag for the first time in more than 15 years having to hold off many past feature Winners. 1st-#12 John McClure 2nd-#43 “Mr. Excitement” Mark Anderson 3rd-#20w “Livewire” AJ Ward 4th-#32 Dan Hubbell 5th-#12 Jeff Reay. Heat race winners were Ward and McClure.

Every week we seem to be seeing a growth in talent in the Street Stock division at I-96 Speedway and this week, after many weeks of coming so close, David Schmidt would go on to win his first ever Street Stock Feature after working hard to get around point leader, Carlind Forsythe. 1st-#46 David Schmidt 2nd-#65 Bill Brandt Jr. 3rd-#67 Carlind Forsythe 4th-#17 Michael Roger's 5th-#2 Hunter Evans. Heat race was also won by Schmidt.

It was Compacts Unleashed night for our Sport Compact class and that brought in one of the top compact competitors to challenge our weekly regulars, Ryan Hamm. During Heat race action, Hamm didn't look too unbeatable as Trenton Dingman and Colin Preston would both put pressure on him, but he proved too strong from his pole position to be beat in Friday Nights closer. 1st-#7 Ryan Hamm 2nd-#31 Trenton Dingman 3rd-#14 “Muskegon Missile” Jordan Siegel 4th-#48 Mike Wagner 5th-#23 “Swerving” Irving Carey. Hamm would also win the compact Heat race.

It's always a great show and great family atmosphere at I-96 Speedway, your Home for Friday Night Dirt Track Racing, and this next Friday is one you won't want to miss. Bring the whole family out for Kids Night for prizes, giveaways, walk the pits, meet the drivers, and get autographs from your favorites. Kona ice will be there serving all of your favorite flavors. Don't miss the action this Friday at I-96 Speedway “Where Excitement Lives”!
