Top-10 finish at Maquoketa Speedway
After Friday’s rainout at Davenport Speedway, Travis Denning opened his race weekend on Saturday at Maquoketa Speedway, aiming for his third win of the season at the Iowa oval.
He impressed early with a fifth-to-second run in his heat race before recording an eighth-place finish in the 25-lap main event.
Denning’s weekend wrapped up at East Moline Speedway on Sunday, but his night ended early after being collected in a tangle on lap six of the feature.
