Timms travels to Bridgeport and Millbridge

An action-packed weekend for Ryan Timms kicked off on Friday at Bridgeport Motorsports Park (Bridgeport, N.J.) as the Oklahoma City, Okla., youngster jumped behind the wheel of the Heffner Racing No. 27H Sprinter for the Dirty Jersey.

Following Friday’s scheduled preliminary program, Timms advanced into Saturday night’s $11,000-to-win main event with a runner-up showing in his heat race.

Rolling off on the sixth row, Ryan faded five positions to finish 16th in the 30-lapper.

In the Non Winged Micro ranks on Monday and Tuesday at Millbridge Speedway (Salisbury, N.C.), Ryan was an early exit in Monday’s event but was able to recover on Tuesday night.

Earning the third-starting position for Tuesday’s Top Gun Invitational A-Main via preliminary results, Timms rolled to a consistent third-place finish. He joined race-winner Sam Johnson and London McKenzie on the podium.
